My journey in the line of editing started during high school, where my passion for language and telling stories was catalyzed while helping classmates refine their essays. Outside of Work:
When not editing, either I read a good book or I go outside and enjoy the great outdoors. Work Terms
Work Terms for Editing & Proofreading Services
1. Business Hours
I consult and work on projects from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
Projects received outside of this time will be considered the following business day and reviewed/replied to accordingly.
2. Preferred Communication
Please allow for up to 2 hours for a response during business hours, though many times I can get back much sooner.
3. Payment Terms
Pricing Structure: My pricing is according to word count, complexity, and the type of editing involved.
Payment Schedule:
Smaller projects-under 500 words-are invoiced upon completion.
For projects larger than 500 words, 50% is due upfront; the balance will fall due on completion of the edited document.
How to Pay for Services
We accept payments by: PayPal or bank transfer.
4. Revisions
One round of minor revisions is free of charge, provided it is requested within [2 days] of delivery.
Further revisions may be charged at an extra based on request.
5. Rush Jobs
If you have a project to be completed in a time frame less than that agreed upon, I do take on rush jobs based on my availability. An additional 5% fee for such service will apply.
6. Turnaround Time
The turnaround time will be mutually agreed upon before the commencement of the work. I will make every effort to meet all deadlines. However, the time required may vary depending on the project's complexity.
I will inform you immediately if there are any delays on my end.
7. Confidentiality
We handle your documents with the utmost care and confidentiality. No content shall be shared with any third party, and complete privacy concerning your work is guaranteed.
