Hey, my name is Emma Leonard. I'm a 21 year old New Zealander. I've been studying
Japanese for eleven years and recently graduated university with a Bachelor of Language in Japanese and N2 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

I have taken translation classes for three years at university, receiving assignments on a weekly basis. This has given me the ability to translate a wide variety of text as well as confidence in my ability to translate a high-quality piece under a deadline. I consistently achieved top marks in this class, with comments on the naturalness of my translations.

I am a native English speaker and have loved reading since i was a child. This has equipped me with a plethora of knowledge on vocabulary, spelling and grammar, allowing me to translate naturally and error free. Similarly, I have always had a passion for creative writing, giving my translations a unique flair.

While I am just starting out in the translation field, I hope to receive many assignments and gain as much experience as possible.
