This is Jessie from China. I am a native Chinese and lived in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China. I graduated from Sichuan University with an English major in 2007. I have a CATTI-II Certificate (China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters, launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Personnel of the People’s Republic of China).
I have been working as a certified Chinese freelance translator/editor, providing translation, edition, subtitling, MTPE, proofreading services (EN/CN pair) for more than 10 years, with customers all over the world. I translate not only commercial documents, but also books, because I am a big reader and love all kinds of novels, including romance novels, martial arts novels, life diaries, historical novels, literary works, etc.
The tool I used most is Trados, Memoq, Memosource, etc. Also, if possible, I'd love to learn new tools.
