Nonprofit consultant
I am a 2005 graduate of New York University Law School where I specialized in tax law. Practicing at Shearman & Sterling LLP and Davies Ward, Phillips and Vineberg, I have advised nonprofits on a variety of matters. I also served on the founding board of More Than Me Academy, a nonprofit that is now managing a multi-million dollar budget. As part of my nonprofit consulting, I was sent for a month to Liberia, West Africa to take part in rebuilding the country’s justice system after the civil war.
In 2013, I left the corporate world to open my own consulting and coaching practice. Utilizing the skills developed working for my previous employers, I now work exclusively with nonprofits that desire to create a solid foundation off of which to build.
I previously served as a freelance writer for The Huffington Post, supporting individuals desiring to transition from employment to entrepreneurship.
