Hello there! As you already know, my name is Erika Rasso. I grew up in Wellington, Florida, a suburban town known for its abundance of horses and the game of Polo. I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida, with a Bachelor's degree with honors in English- Creative Writing and Marketing.
A variety of editing work has given me the versatility of experience needed to complete any project with diligence, consistency and an acute attention to detail. I am dedicated to making writing sound fluid, readable, and effective. In addition to writing in my free time, I've worked as a Mentor Writing Consultant at the University Writing Center, the Production Editor on the Cypress Dome Literary Journal, and the Associate Editor of the Undergraduate Research Journal.
I have also accrued experience in marketing, having worked on the marketing and promotions committees for all of the above organizations. Therefore, I have knowledge and practice in SEO, SMO, blog writing, and more.
In my free time, I'm a fan. You'll always find me marathoning new TV shows on Netflix or going to see movies at my local theater. My interests inspire me everyday, affecting my career goals, my relationships, and even my morals. Ever since being introduced to Joss Whedon's work, especially Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I love this show so much that I could beat Whedon himself at Buffy trivia), I've wanted to follow in his footsteps and create powerful characters, inspiring stories, and an epic legacy.
