Compelling stories about science, medicine, and the people behind the work
I am a scientist by training and a writer at heart. For the past decade I have been doing neuroscience research, first at the College of William & Mary, then at Vanderbilt University, and now at the University of Pittsburgh, where I expect to earn my PhD next year. In the meantime, I am working as a freelance science writer on the side. I regularly contribute to The Pitt News, a daily paper, and Pitt Med Magazine, a quarterly.
