BACKGROUND
Began developing Internet applications during the dawn of the commercial Internet in 1994. Programmed first commercial site in Perl, using CGI scripts on a Silicon Graphics O2 running IRIX and Netscape Enterprise Server.
Founded Electric Speed in 1999, an Internet consulting company named after the term coined by Marshall McLuhan in his seminal work, "Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man" (1964).
Co-founded Colorado Federal Savings Bank's national online lending division (Cofedbank). Development Director from 2003 to 2008. Developed website and national Internet-marketing strategy for online division and bank's 30-plus branches. Designed mortgage-rate pricing engine that calculated real-time best-execution for 100s of investors. Developed lead-management system, managed online advertising, and set up analytics system, which enabled us to optimize conversion ratios for each level of the marketing and sales funnel. The online division enabled bank to originate loans in all 50 states. Provident Funding acquired Colorado Federal in 2008.
