Hi! I´m a Spanish speaking psychologyst. Studied in France and Germany. Back to Colombia, I used to work as a university teacher at different universities in Bogotá. After some years of teaching, I applied to the Diplomatic Academy and a year and a half later, I was working for the colombian Foreign Affairs Ministerium. It was a short but a very interesting experience. After my diplomatic career, I wanted to practice the languages I had learned, so I studied Translation Technics at the National Univerity in Bogotá. About my translation experience, I translated three papers on Psychoanalysis from French into Spanish for the magazine "Desde el Jardín de Freud" (17), published by the National University in Bogotá last June. Their titles were: "Le rire du psychanalyst", "La risa del psicoanalista"; "Charlie, mort de rire", "Charlie, muerto de risa"; L´humour noir face à la mort", "El humor negro frente a la muerte". You can find them on the website: www.jardindefreud.unal.edu.co About my experience translating from English into Spanish, I translated a guide on accident prevention for the NGO "Pensar Latinoamericano". Its title was: "A Step by Step Guide. Your Accident Prevention Program" (88 pages), "Guía Paso a Paso. Su Programa para la Prevención de Accidentes".
