A wonderful opportunity brought me into the IT and programming fields. At first, I just thought the programmers in crime movies were cooler than any special agents. So I started my path of becoming a programmer.
At Chinese Southwest University and Deakin University, I took software engineering and programming as my main subjects respectively to finish my bachelor's study. Then I further studied for a master of software development at Deakin as well. From the very beginning, I was thrilled to successfully display the simple "hello world", and then I could work with the team to create a well-designed and user-friendly webpage. During the study, I learned how to use HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, XML, C#, SQL, Oracle, and Node.js, and also learned how to manage repositories using Git and GitHub.
After graduation, I have participated in 3 internships so far, working as a data analyst and web programmer. I started to self-study what I did not learn in school. Do market research, update, and self-learn various frameworks and programming knowledge. Today, I serve as a web developer intern at the Brimbank Council. And I hope to further improve my programming skills and other soft skills. During this time, I learned how to use React.js, CodeIgniter, Plotly.js, and how to manage projects using GitLab and Bitbucket.
In 2021, I am so lucky that I joined my current company and started development work based on ServiceNow and continuously learn and practice the skills.
