Eszter’s drawings have a special tone. The lines meander as vibrations of an incredibly sensitive soul to circumscribe the important symbols and metaphors of her visual world: trees, birds, angels, rain, clouds, and the individual contemplating all of these, respectively. The other element of visual
language appearing on Eszter’s drawings is colour, never ostentatious, but rather, like soft background music, providing a lyrical grounding for the play of lines and forms. During seminars of book graphics and narrative image Eszter has also demonstrated her way of adding text and letter to the above two basic visual elements and how all these mirror and shape her thoughts formulated with reference to a concrete piece of literature or independently of that. Eszter has arrived to the genre that has always interested her: illustration.
