My name is Eva Mwangi from Nairobi, Kenya. I hold a bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Technology with a major in Public Relations. I possess, over 10 years of communications and marketing experience.
I am not just your average marketer. I am a self-taught graphic designer. Graphic design is essential in any online communication because the fastest way to capture an online audience is through graphics/images/pictures.
I had to learn graphic design because I needed to be able to sketch anywhere and anytime I had a light bulb moment.
In addition, I run an online store ( www.jayessentielle.com). Setting up and running this Shopify store from scratch has molded me into a Shopify guru. I have a lot of expertise on Shopify, as I have to keep updating the store to make it interactive and constantly troubleshoot as and when challenges arise. The online store is linked to a POS system and has various social media platforms that we use for marketing
I also run and host a YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtOtLNAFyeovbuTn6rZ8O_g ). This has taught me how to edit and prep videos for YouTube.
In addition, I am a mom to a beautiful daughter. Being a single mother has taught me resilience, consistency, and discipline which I employ in my personal and professional life.
