My second major in college was English, with a writing emphasis, and I have been involved in fiction writing and critique groups on and off for the last eight years. My typing is quick and exceptionally accurate, and I have a flawless eye for grammar, spelling, and the overall "flow" of text. I have frequently been praised at work and in my classwork for an impressive ability to communicate clearly with any audience.
Work Terms
I have a day job, but I can devote much of my nights & weekends to freelance work. At maximum, I can do about 20 hours of freelance work per week. I'm not the world's fastest transcriptionist (though I make up for that in accuracy) but because of that, I prefer to work for a fixed price or per-audio-minute to working for an hourly rate. For editing services, I prefer a per-word rate.
