My name is Ezna Syaqira binti Zakaria. I am a full time freelance translator since 2018. My language pairs are English-Malay and Malay-English. I have experienced working with individuals and organisations. My latest translation work is with the National Art Gallery, translating articles for a sculptor's exhibition. Usually, I translate abstracts of theses, questionnaires, and articles to be published in journals. I also do proofreading for Malay and English texts. I have experienced working as a part time tutor in social science field, administrative officer in the hospital, contract teacher, medical social worker in the hospital and temporary clerk in banking line. These experiences assisted me in doing translation besides exploring new fields through the documents I translate for my clients. I am looking forward to collaborating with more individuals and organisations in translation field. Besides that, I enjoy reading. I collect books from different genres and read them to obtain information and knowledge.
