Timely copywriting, editing and proofreading of the highest standard, tailored to the needs of your business, your audience, and the search engines.
Who am I and why should you work with me?
I have been making every word count for businesses and individuals like you for 16 years now.
I understand that the choice and accuracy of your words can make or break the impact of your content. I know that whatever text you are working with, you need it to have an effect on your target audience - to bring about a result that you seek. That audience could be human, or it could also be the search engines. I can help you achieve the result you are striving for.
I am native British and degree-level educated in linguistics and foreign languages. I have years of experience working in marketing and communications from within Silicon Valley start-ups to global brands.
My main fields of work have always been online marketing, communications and PR. I have extensive experience and training in copywriting and editing for the web and this is where I have focused my career in recent years. Having worked at a senior level in a global company, I work and deliver results to a professional standard.
I am trained to deliver copy which pleases the human reader as well as the search engines. I am expert at getting the key messages of your business across using the most effective mix of words.
I write original copy but also have years of experience proofreading and editing copy. I can hone and optimise (or optimize for non-British readers!) someone else's words very effectively. I have the ability to adapt the tone and feel of copy to meet the needs of a business and its specific audience. From cool and corporate to friendly and humorous, I can weave a message between the lines as well as within the words themselves.
I look forward to working with a whole variety of clients and to practising (or, practicing for my friends in the US!) sorcery with words.
