I'm a freelancer writer, translator, editor and photographer, who's been traveling the world continuously for 5 years to explore how people live around the globe.
My educational background is in Business Administration & Economics with specializations in Psychology, Strategic Management and Logistics. I graduated from University of Cologne with a Diploma degree at the age of 25 in 2012. Ever since I have been traveling the world, immersing myself into local cultures, trying to understand what life is like elsewhere. I worked as a volunteer for non-profit organizations for 2 years in total so far (8 different projects in Ecuador, Peru, Nicaragua, India, Laos, Indonesia, South Africa). I earn my living as a freelance writer, translator, editor and photographer. I'm a German native but completely trilingual (German, English, Spanish). I write and take photos for the tourism industry, mostly for companies like Expedia, Thomas Cook, TUI etc. I also work as an editor/proofreader and I run my own blog www.milesastray.com, which you can check out for writing and photography samples. I am a perfectionist, who is passionate about what he's doing, as you will also see in my website design, which I crafted completely by myself.

I am extremely flexible in terms of working hours. My preferred method of communication is email and for payments I prefer Paypal.
