Word and sound magic
My work experience is a colorful one.
Online, I'm primarily a writer-for-hire. I've ghostwritten articles and essays for clients (usually private individuals), covering a wide range of topics like business management, sociology, political theory, history, culture, traveling, food, and gardening.
In "real" life, I co-own a small made-to-order gourmet food business in my neighborhood called Casa Medillano. (Our most popular product is our paella.) I like to cook, bake bread, and grow my own food. I like researching and trying out other cuisines and the best food science-based "tricks" to make food taste better.
My serious hobbies include singing and voice acting. As a result, I regularly use audio editing software to create backing tracks for songs and audio plays as well.
I can also draw. When making illustrations, I usually work with pen, pencil, charcoal, and pastel. But I also use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I can create simple layout designs for print (e.g., simple book layout, brochures, or flyers), if required.
My previous experiences include working as an educational program coordinator (2001-2005) and marketing communications & PR coordinator (2006-2007) at the Asian Institute of Management.
