Experience in accounting, bookkeeping.,billing, payroll, budgets, financial statement preparation, bank reconciliations and administration.
Reasonable rates.
Dear prospective client:
I have years of experience including keeping internal books, financial analysis, performing bank reconciliations, preparing budgets, billing, preparing financials, spreadsheets and reports for executive committee, payroll, SUTA, FUTA, 940, 941 tax and other filings as well as other related duties, for a law firm for many years, a private wealthy investor, as well as experience with an engineering firm and computer supplier.
As such, I know it is important that a client’s books be kept accurately and up to date. That includes classifying transactions properly so they accurately portray an accurate picture of the client’s financial position. That includes performing timely bank and credit card reconciliations. Accurate financial statements cannot be prepared unless the books are maintained accurately.
My experience also includes administrative work (former member of ALA-Association of Legal Administrators) with HR files, T. Rowe Price 401(K) administration, insurance administration, office administration, and coordinating with bank reps, CPAs, vendors and other personnel on company matters.
Programs I am familiar with include Peachtree, Quickbooks online, Quicken, Javelan (legal accounting software), Word, Excel, and Lotus.
My degree is a B.S. in Mathematics; and Mass Communications at Towson State University (3.8 GPA); and post graduate accounting studies at Montgomery College in Maryland ( Phi Theta Kappa).
I also have writing experience (ebooks, articles).
Currently I am seeking to build up a base of private clientele. I work at reasonable non-budget busting rates.
Professional references to verify my background and experience are listed on my resume. Actual samples of my work are attached.
