Don't learn a language, live it!!
I'm proactive and I've always been a great communicator from a young age. I learned English at 11 years old playing a Gameboy console while translating the games using an Oxford Pocket dictionary. I started to work at 18 as a salesman and never stopped until today, always looking for new experiences. After high school I decided not to go to College and took a level 5 course instead. The course was of International Trade which gave me an opportunity to work as an intern in the biggest airport store management company on Portugal called LFP - Lojas Francas de Portugal (Duty Free). Having finished my training in the Lisbon Airport I had the opportunity to apply for a second internship organized by the Leonardo DaVinci programme, the training took place in Barcelona and gave me great insight about the "real world" of companies that decide to go International.
I have always been in contact with the public and I enjoy it every time. Despite the fact of being working for the past four years for a fashion company, I started to question if there would be anything else I could do besides selling and advertising, and what else could a good communicator do for himself and others, and so I researched any volunteer work I could do and actually stumbled across a temporary opening for the fundraising department at Amnesty International. I ended up with two jobs and actually did some good with an organization I am proud of having been a part of.
Work Terms
I can work on regular working hours in Portugal which are from 9am until 17pm. After that I can no longer be available. I'm open to discussing the payment beforehand and will only do the projects if I'm confortable to do so.
