Fred Li is currently running an online tutoring and mentoring service in the fields of STEM and Chinese-English language subjects for secondary school students and young practitioners globally. Students with special need are welcome.

Prior, from July 2016 until now, Mr. Li is also an independent digital technology consultant, helping development of online education technologies and strategies for global and regional academic partners.

Prior, from June 2011 until July 2016, Mr. Li was the Senior Director of Sales at Emerson/Artesyn Embedded Technologies, a global manufacturer of embedded power conversion solutions. He was the head of sales and marketing management of key accounts and distribution channels in the Greater China region. During his term of service, Mr. Li had managed to establish trusted and strategic relationship with CEOs and CxOs with focus on growing the accounts, driving values and client satisfaction.
Mr. Li has held similar roles in the past with other companies in the semiconductor, power, consumer electronics, Storage, IT industries, including IR/Infineon Technologies (2008 – 2011), Philips/NXP (2004 – 2008) and IBM (1997 – 2004).

Mr. Li started his career as a R&D Engineering Manager for the US Naval-Air Engineering Center in NJ, USA during the mid 1980’s, and served as the R&D Director for Willas-Array Group, an EMS manufacturing solution provider based in Dongguan, China, during the early 1990’s.

Mr. Li obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees (with Honor) in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, USA in 1982 and 1984, respectively.
