Hello! My name is Fatin Nabila, and I am from Malaysia. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Management at Universiti Teknologi Mara (MARA). I have always been passionate about learning and challenging myself, not only academically but also through various extracurricular activities and practical experiences.
During my academic journey, I have built a strong foundation through my involvement in the Bachelor of Office System Society (BOSS). I serve as the Student Development Office Secretariat for the 2023/2024 session. Being part of this society has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge through various events, projects, presentations and team activities. For instance, I participated in organizing an event called "Team Building BOSS." This experience enhanced my teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, which I believe are essential in any professional environment. Not just that, I also joined as Multimedia Bureau in a lot of society events where I do poster design, banner design, invitation card design and social media. This helped me to learn to be more creative and think out of the box to attract people to join our events.
Although I may not have extensive work experience yet, I have been actively seeking opportunities to learn beyond the classroom. I have participated in part-time jobs as a waiter, workshops where I learn how to do good business and be as assistant program director for my class event. This experience was where I gained real-world exposure and developed my skills like communication, time management and adaptability. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is the importance of taking initiative and being responsible for my own growth.
I think of myself as a really motivated and curious person. Since I think that is how progress is made, I do not hesitate to ask questions or look for input. In order to effectively manage my time, I also make an effort to maintain organisation and create specific goals, particularly while balancing a number of obligations like deadlines, assignments and part time job. My peers frequently characterise me as trustworthy, helpful and willing to provide a hand.
