I used to be a senior IT developer for a telecom company in usa . But, at the time, I wanted more than anything to find flexibility in work and life, and to live in usa. I didn't want to give up, so I started freelancing--and I'm glad I did. Having clients from throughout the world means my earnings potential isn't tied to the local economy. I've also honed a professional [online] profile with a positive work history. Now, my income not only exceeds what I was making in kenya, but I have the luxury of too much work! I think the secret to my success is three-fold: location independence, professionalism and proactiveness.
Work Terms
We require payments of either; a) 1/3 at the beginning of each project, a second payment of 1/3 at a mutually agreed to midway point in the project, and a final payment of 1/3 at the end of the project prior to moving the site to the client's server, or b) 1/2 at the beginning and 1/2 at the end of the project.We develop high quality sites and assist our clients in building quality traffic to those sites that will generate high levels of conversion rates from new visitors to repeat customers. You will work with a single point of contact throughout your project from design through coding and into the testing and QA phases.
