I use statistics to frame my understanding of the world.
Introduction
---------------
I enjoy using statistics and programming to frame my understanding of the world. My graduate degree is in Economics and my specialization was in Econometrics. I have since become interested in a variety of modeling techniques: from cutting-edge machine-learning techniques to Bayesian models and classical statistics.
Software Development
----------------------------
I have honed my programming skills on software development at a nonprofit, where I developed internal apps for measuring, querying, and visualizing employee productivity.
Statistical Analysis
-----------------------
I have also developed my analytical skills while working as a data analyst for one of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States.
Experience
--------------
I have over 10,000 lines of documented code in production that vary from automated data pipelines, machine-learning applications, time-series forecasts, internal reporting web apps, interactive D3 visualizations, dashboards, and optimization techniques for assigning case managers to new members.
Tools
-------
I am most comfortable using the following tools:
R | Python | SQL | Linux | Julia | Stan | git
I have working capability with the following tools:
Javascript | Node | D3 | Apache Spark | Hadoop | Haskell | Scala | Windows OS
