Writing to Enlighten
Originally from Rhodesia—Zimbabwe today—I have never been one to let the grass grow beneath my feet. In a career spanning several decades—including executive positions in the corporate arena—I have amassed an enviable set of skills and experiences along the way.
My life-long passion for aviation started as a trainee pilot with the Rhodesian Air Force in the late 1970s. After leaving the war-torn country in 1981 I moved to South Africa to study civil engineering.
At the prestigious SAPPI Book-of-the-Year Awards Ceremony in Johannesburg in 2010, I received a Bronze Medal for my acclaimed title Manzovo-Place of the Elephants. My impassioned presentation on the plight of African elephants has been enjoyed by audiences around the world.
With the release of Red Talon—the second title in the Dax Hunter Series—I continue to draw on my experiences as a pilot, Iraq War veteran, bodyguard instructor, and qualified medic.
When I'm not busy protecting high net worth individuals around the globe, I can be found promoting my various books.
