I started my career at a top 25 law firm with over 500 attorneys servicing Fortune 500 companies. I quickly realized that this wasn't the life for me. I found that most agreements were done without basic business sense, instead focused on CYA. Since that time I have practiced law on my own, representing companies large and small (as well as the US Treasury Dept. in an M&A transaction). Additionally, I have started 4 small companies (a dotcom, a web 2.0 company, a mortgage company and a mutual fund), and provide M&A advisory services to several companies. I understand the business world and bring that to my legal practice.
