I'm a unique blend of skills and experience: marketing and communications, business and management, and tech and development, with a respectable amount of design sense thrown in for good measure. In the early 1990s, I left a position as Director of Public Relations for a major international software developer to start my own business. The Web was just becoming a commercially-accessible medium at this point, and I taught myself how to design and build Web sites. My company, which would become Interlocking Media, was one of the area's first pure Web development groups, and we went on to develop successful interactive projects for organizations such as Johns Hopkins, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile (then Voicestream), United Way of Central Maryand, and many others.
Since then, I've managed the interactive efforts of a major international rewards program provider, and provided occasional freelance consulting and development services. No matter what your need in the interactive space, I can develop a solution that meets your budget and delivers measurable results.
Work Terms
I am available for freelance development, project management and consulting assignments -- full-time, part-time, or project-based. I am accessible during standard business hours (EST) via phone and email.
For most projects I quote a fixed project rate, with a 50% deposit and signed work order required before work begins. The balance is typically due Net 30 upon project completion.
