From Pitch to Page: Your World of Cricket, Written.
By day, I'm an engineer, navigating the world of blueprints and stress calculations. I solve problems, design solutions, and build things. But by night, a different world calls to me - the world of cricket.
My love for the game started young, watching matches with my brother, analysing every ball, every shot. Over the years, that passion has only grown stronger. I started giving cricket reviews with in my friend circle.
The response was surprising. People were drawn to my unique perspective - the analytical mind of an engineer applied to the poetry of cricket. I found myself spending more and more time thinking about writing, the words flowing like a well-oiled machine.
The thought of turning this passion into a career has crossed my mind. Could I, an engineer with a stable job, really make a living writing about cricket? It's a daunting idea, but also exhilarating. The idea of getting paid to analyze matches, interview players, and share the drama of the sport is a dream come true.
The road ahead is uncertain. It's a leap of faith, a chance to trade the security of engineering for the unpredictable world of writing. But I know one thing for sure: my heart is in this game, and I'm ready to take a swing at it.
