I don't know anybody that loves design work as much as I do. It's all fun and my passion for the design shows through in my work. Over the past 20+ yeas, I have designed products ranging from medical lab equipment to oxygenator systems, from military targeting vision systems to rifle magazines and accessories, from handheld products to rack mounted Cloud infrastructure gear.
Rack-mounted gear: I have designed for both EIA standard and OCP (Open Compute Project) standard rack designs, both V1 and V2. My designs are done with cost and speed of service in mind, and they have been deployed in staggering quantities in my day job's own data centers around the world.
Airborne optics, targeting and vision systems for military, law enforcement and drug interdiction. SWIR / MWIR / LWIR and visible spectrum cameras mounted on gimbals such as teh Star SAFIRE, and fixed payload pods.
Work Terms
I work from my home office, can attend periodic con calls and meet in person with local employers.I use Solidworks as my CAD tool, and supply my own software and computer.
