Freelance 3D artist

I've been a freelance illustrator for twenty-five years, coming from a background in advertising after graduating with a diploma in Graphic Design. I've worked with all the major publishing houses in South Africa, working on hundreds of textbook titles. I'm equally comfortable doing both hand drawn and digital artwork.

Recently I decided to move into 3D and have spent the last six months doing courses in Blender, learning as much as I can to become a good all-round 3D artist. I absolutely love it, and find that coming from an illustration background has helped me hugely.

I live in Napier, at the foot of South Africa, surrounded by the beautiful Overberg. I spend most of my time fighting with my cats for drawing space.
