A number of technical jobs before beginning an Electronics apprenticeship with the British Army. Obtained first class electronics technician status before leaving to work for an international technology company. Having completed an engineering degree with The Open University, I've pursued a career in embedded electronics and test systems in a word leading research department.
Examples of projects I've undertaken:
- A highly versatile wireless modular sensor system.
- Many electrical systems and enclosures
- Large and complex research level test rigs
- Reverse engineering
I have been responsible for electrical safety across a large group with no incidents to date. I have also gained management experience during both military and civilian careers.
In my own time I enjoy creating IoT and home-automation projects, DIY, and canoeing.
Work Terms
I do have a full-time job so I enjoy carrying this work out during evenings and weekends.
