It was in the summer of 2017 that I made a fateful decision: after earning a position within academia as an Assistant Professor, did I truly want that lifestyle?

I decided that I did not, and after completing my Ph.D. in Communication and Writing Studies, I left to make my mark in the private and freelance sector. I quickly landed a position writing copy and SEO materials, which quickly became a Senior Copywriter and full-time managerial position focusing on B2B copy, content strategy, and project management.

Why am I telling you this? Because it outlines the skills and experience I bring to every freelance job I take. My areas of specialization include three different areas:

1. Resume, CV, and Cover Letter Writing
2. Curriculum Development and Educational Writing
3. Business Writing and Consulting

Within these three areas, I have helped individuals write business proposals, grants, instructional materials, website copy, email campaigns, and more. I have worked with some truly amazing people and love the fact that I am living the writer's life.

Work Terms

I work 8am-4pm CDT and by appointment. Current rates are $75.00 hourly, but I prefer to discuss large and long-term projects before giving an estimate.
