My Mission is to deliver high quality renders at a reasonable price.
My name is Gerard and I’m a Technical Artist seeking employment. My experience has allowed me to create my own world(s), in which video games have played a big part. My main strengths are evolving concepts into reality, brainstorming, 3D design, and animation. I start off by creating a storyboard or video sample. Once I have a solid understanding of the art direction; I do my best to replicate the same results in the actual game engine.
I believe being a good team player is important. Mainly because creating a game can be hard work that for the most part is also a fun and rewarding experience. I understand that it takes a lot of resources to successfully complete a AAA title. That’s why it would be a great honor to work with a team. So that I can evolve my talent and grow from with the company.
There is just so much that I can say about myself in this cover letter but it would just be an introduction. In short, I am a hardworking, and passionate individual who is dedicated to the work that I am committed to. I am seeking an entry-level position as a technical artist that specializes in the Unreal Engine. Please take the time to review the virtual resume that I’ve attached. It contains some examples from projects that I’ve worked on in the past. Thanks in advance for reviewing my resume.

Upon hire, it always helps if I have a clear understanding of the project. I can't stress how important it is to have reference photos and a concise description of the task at hand. Having references can really help to expedite the creative process, because it gives me a clear understanding of what direction you'd like to go.
