My journey as an IT scrum master team is focused on adherence to agile principles through open communication and continuous improvement. My role is that of a facilitator of collaboration in which each voice is critical, especially when there are challenges. I recall the recent project where we had reached a major roadblock at the eve of a sprint review. With refocused goals and obstacles overcome together, the team managed to turn the tables of fortunes-around-a feat of agile teamwork.
My definition of success is balanced; growth should be without burnout, hence achieving work-life harmony that allows me to take care of my family. A focus on balance I impress within my team has been influenced by the reflections I had upon digital relationships and the work-life dialogue I started to document in personal projects. This creative side enhanced my understanding of effective communication that I brought back into the workplace, strengthening my role of being a mentor and facilitator.
Outside of work, I have started working on creative projects around digital relationships and work-life balance, topics that have started documenting through my personal content series. A hobby that gives me another perspective on communication, a key component of my work. Through it, I have learned to value the power of storytelling, which I bring into the workplace whenever I have to represent the progress of the team to stakeholders or when I mentor agile principles to team members.
