I started writing in the 1980s, as a radio copywriter. I still listen to 80s music while I write, but I'm not just a radio writer any more. I've branched out into the brave new world of the internet, and write website content, SEO, blog posts and more…but I still love to write the occasional radio ad, ‘cos I’m kind of good at it.

I live in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Hawkes Bay is known as Wine Country. People make world class wine here, and I enjoy to drink what they make. I also like to write about wine, and food, and how wine and food, and food and wine, go together.

As a proud New Zealander, I wear black whenever the mighty All Blacks play rugby. But I am not totally one eyed. I lived in Australia for many years, and have a soft spot for the country and its people…one of those people happens to be my wife!

I hate reading boring stuff, which is why I like to write with humour (‘humor’ for my American friends) and a light, catchy style. If the occasion calls for a more serious approach, I will dump my whacky hat and knuckle down to business. BUT…I really do love to take a lighter look at life, because that is the sort of stuff I would want to read.
