Occupation-Directed Education Training and Development Practitioner (ODETDP) and Coach

I am an intrinsically motivated individual that is goal oriented, offers a high quality, professional service and will not compromise on integrity nor quality. If I were to describe myself with one word, it would be "determined".

I entered the labor market as a secretary in 1981 and progressed to the position of personal assistant in 1998 at a well-known large corporation. Wishing to spread my wings in the field of education, I applied for a position as a Learning & Development Consultant at the same company in 1999..

I graduated as an ODETDP in 2005 after successfully completing a three year university qualification over two years, achieving cum laude.
The qualification enabled me to design and develop training manuals, facilitate and carry out general performance consulting tasks. I am also a registered Assessor and Moderator with the ETDP SETA (under the South African Qualifications Authority).

My greatest love is to research and write articles. Having had over 15 years in the training field and 7 intensive years of experience in ETD, I believe I am an authentic and credible candidate to select should an employer seek a writer to write manuals, articles, reports, proposals and any other documentation.

In December 2009, I left full time employment and consulted as an independent contractor because my son became ill and required home care. I have done a number of projects since that time and would be happy to provide evidence thereof on request. I am attaching my detailed curriculum vitae for review.

Work Terms

08:30 to 16:30 (South Africa) are my work hours, however, should there be a deadline that requires extra work hours, I will manage my time appropriately.
