Practical electronics problem solver . Very creative at technical advice on bringing an electronics idea to a cost effective reality
I started in electronics as a young child and have have decades of experience in commercial, defense avionics and in college academia. I enjoy solving technical problems in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Almost 20 years of my career was with the defense firm Loral where I started as an engineering technician and worked my way up to senior staff engineer. I led or followed programs from proposal, engineering test, engineering team leader, qualification testing, production support and flight testing. This included programs from the USAF, TUAF, RAF, IAF and supported some of these programs both domestically and internationally.
Loral folded and I eventually found my next great employer, Cooper Union College. I was the electronics lab technician there and the great students valued my support of their projects, designs and my advice therein.
I spent 15 years in the role of Electronics Lab supervisor there and provided for all the student material and intellectual needs.
I also taught several courses to immigrant engineers as part of a special program and my practical approach to teaching was very valued.
On a part time basis I was the primary engineer / technician for the firm international robotics . I both maintained, repaired and integrated new electronics, most of which was of my own design and fabrication.
When the college found itself in financial difficulty I relocated to my current digs in Florida and as such I offer my services to you.
