Throughout my career I have held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, licensing and business development within the retail, service, hospitality and OEM verticals.
In addition to my own sales production, my accomplishments have included:
- Hiring, training and supervising 50+ sales reps and rep groups (100+ individuals) for one employer
- Managing the sales efforts of both domestic and international distributors
- Coordinating, attending and managing all facets of domestic and international trade show exhibits
- Selling-through to all channels of distribution
- Supervising manufacturing operations at company-owned factories
- Building companies and divisions from the ground up, with all the responsibilities
associated with this endeavor
- Traveling overseas to attend trade shows, source products and visit factories
As I view salesmanship as a craft, I have made it a priority to take continuing education courses to further my abilities, and have hired, trained and motivated others to do the same.
