I am a home-based freelance worker who is willing to learn and complete anything. I currently specialize in administration, customer service, writing and planning. I had a short stint with handling payroll at my last employer, which has led to me pursuing an Associates Degree in Accounting. In addition to my AA degree, I am virtually completing my BS in Business, which has helped me developed a good rapport with online working.
My hobbies include writing, reading and teaching. Right now, I love teach my 6-month old daughter how to use her motor skills and interact. Hopefully, before she starts school in the next couple of years she will develop my love of reading and my passion for writing and learning.
Before I decided to work from home, I held positions at a state hospital and a privately owned hospital as a Unit Clerk for Labor & Delivery, Ante/Postpartum, Pediatrics/PACU, NICU and Surgical Services. My time at both jobs consisted of similar duties including customer care, data entry, phone management, patient chart management, inhouse/discharge summary, filing, scheduling and a host of other duties. During my time at the privately owned hospital, I was promoted to Payroll Staffing Associate of Surgical Services. I provided my department with salary help - answered questions, inquired about work days and hours, managed punch in and out for all staff in my department and submitted bi-weekly hours accordingly for payment.
Work Terms
II am available Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm, 40+ hours weekly. I can be flexible with my Saturdays, if needed. Compensation negotiations will start at $12+ hourly. I am opened to contract and full time employment.
