I use words to paint pictures, tell stories and create imagery that will inform, impress and sometimes leave you breathless.
I love words. I have made a living out of them - as a Radio and Television Reporter and then Television Producer, and as a writer in my personal capacity. My greatest moments are those in which I have put pen to paper and constructed another literary master-piece.
In my working time I captured a few professional awards including a PAHO (Pan American Health Organisation) award for an HIV documentary, a Caribbean Broadcasting Union award for best radio programme, a CBC award for best television programme, the Clement Payne Award for what they considered my contribution to social upliftment through my work and recently one of the Oshe Emeka awards from the Pan African commission of Barbados.
I've published two books of children verse so far and am now working on a major work called Westminster's Jewel. Won a BBC playwriting competition in the 1980's and a NIFCA (Barbados arts festival) bronze award for the poem, WESTMINSTER'S CHAINS.
Recreationally, I sing bass with the Cecilian Chorale and play the piano.
In my retirement I'm waiting on the opportunity to put my skills into use for the benefit of my clients and me.
Work Terms
My hours are flexible. I set my own time table. Communication by email work fine for me and payments may be by international money order or cheque (check).
