WHAT I DO:

? Audio restoration and cleaning (reducing background noise, crackles, sibilance or pops and most other noises/distortions that occur as well as removing hisses, hums and microphone distortions?)

? Audio Editing (removing pauses, restarts, stutters, umms, errs, lip smacks and breathing sounds. Combining different recordings. Layering and mixing music)

? EQ (EQ matching. Corrective equalization. High-pass and low-pass filtering. Phase correction. Enhancing, warming and brightening)

? Mixing (Mixing individual stems coving music instruments, vocals, dialogue or ambience)

? Levelling (adjusting volume levels to match)

? Dynamic processing (Compression. Limiting. De-essing)

? Mastering

? Adding ID3 tags (Assigning all pertinent information)

EXPERIENCE:

I have been producing, mixing and mastering a wide range of music for around 14 years now and have worked on a wide range of music. I have produced several EPs of my own material as well as worked with a number of collaborators.

Since working as a freelancer I have done many projects covering audio restoration from recovering music from old tape recordings to cleaning up bad recordings in poor environments for documentaries and Kick-Starter type campaign videos.

I have edited audiobooks and online eCourses and really enjoy the work.
