Gordon Chastain studied for his BS Technology Management with minor in Electronic Engineering at Amber University in Dallas, Texas and has over 35 years of experience managing complex technology projects in government and commercial sectors. Coupled with his education in general business management, Mr. Chastain has hands on practical practice with Requirements Analysis, Scope Definition, Budget Estimation, Business Processing Off shoring (BPO), Six Sigma Process Improvement Methodology, Organizational Program Management Maturity analysis and Vendor/Sub-contract Management.
Gordon's international experience, through collaboration, working and living outside the United States, offers a global perspective into diverse customs and cultures, enhancing his leadership of not only multi-discipline teams, but also multi-national resources.
An accomplished Manager, Gordon has extensive experience leading project management efforts encompassing large scale, complex projects/programs. He has mentored and promoted other project managers in the practice of leading teams of engineers, scientists, managers, vendors and technical/support staff. Gordon is a proven leader with the ability to work with all levels of users, engineers, vendors, functional management and Executives. As an executive level project/program manager, Mr. Chastain has had responsibility to pursue and manage major strategic projects and multi-million dollar budgets at the enterprise implementation and lifecycle support.
Mr. Chastain served in the United States Air Force Cryptographic and Strategic Intelligence Systems Command and lead commercial industry startup projects, high risk projects, recovery projects and new business pursuits projects for major international corporations, to include NCR, MasterCard, McDonald’s, Texas Instruments, SKY Cable Systems, Raytheon, SPSS, ABN-AMRO (LaSalle Banks) and Allstate, to name just a few.
