Biography
I am Goro, an architect with a solid track record in the development and execution of architectural projects. I graduated from the Universidad Mayor School of Architecture in 2002, obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Subsequently, I completed a Diploma in Sustainable Architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2020, where I specialized in sustainable design bases, renewable energy systems and energy-thermal simulation.
Currently, I am a founding partner and director of GU Arquitectos, where I have led the development of numerous architecture and design projects since 2020. My leadership and vision have been fundamental to the growth and success of the firm.
Before founding GU Arquitectos, I was Head of Architecture at MALL PLAZA between 2013 and 2020. In this position, I managed the development, execution and monitoring of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and providing professional assistance throughout the process. My ability to plan and schedule preliminary projects and projects, as well as to direct and settle works, was crucial for the progress of construction.
Between 2011 and 2013, I worked at INSTORE DISEÑO as Head of the Stand Alone Area, where I was in charge of the development, review and approval of projects for important brands such as Falabella, Americanino, Café Juan Valdés and Nextel, among others. My ability to deploy effective plans and strategies allowed me to achieve the area's objectives efficiently.
For almost a decade, from 2002 to 2011, I was Project Manager at BAUFORM Arquitectura, managing the development of projects and the execution of shopping centers for Cencosud Shopping Center in different locations in Chile, as well as projects for Cimenta S.A. and Bercovich Companies.
Furthermore, between 2002 and 2006, I played a crucial role as Coordinating Architect at the Embassy of Japan in Chile, managing both the construction of new works and the remodeling of interiors, ensuring quality and efficiency at each stage of the process.
My first years of career included roles as Architect at Rodríguez & Rufín Arquitectos Asociados and Technical Advisor at Fujita Corporation, where I acquired valuable experience in project competitions and advice on current Chilean regulations.
With extensive experience in architectural design, both in 2D details and in realistic 3D renders, I am characterized by my commitment to excellence and sustainability in all my projects, offering my clients efficient constructions and high thermo-light performance.

Attention schedule:
- **Monday to Friday**: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- **Saturdays**: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- **Sundays**: Closed
Payment conditions:
1. **Advance payment**: No advance payment is required.
2. **First Payment**: 50% of the total cost of the project will be paid upon delivery of the first review.
3. **Final Payment**: The remaining balance of 50% must be paid upon final delivery of the project, including all agreed plans and renders.
4. **Payment Methods**: Payments via PayPal.
Preferred Communication Style:
- **Email**: For formal communications, sending plans, and important documentation. Response within a maximum of 24 business hours.
- **Virtual Meetings**: For design reviews and detailed consultations. They can be scheduled through Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
- **Phone/Text Messages**: For quick and urgent inquiries. Available during business hours.
Other Terms:
- **Revisions and Modifications**: Up to three major revisions are allowed at no additional cost. Additional revisions will be subject to extra charges.
