experienced Silicon Valley software engineer C/C++/C#/java; web developer, scraper; PHP & databases (and more); finance - accounting - admin - data entry (will do it all)

I have worked for companies such as Sun Microsystems, H-P, Informix Corp, Price-Waterhouse, and many telcos (Bell South, MCI, Cablecom, ..) doing projects including call center configuration, QA test suites, ASP servers, financial derivatives trading and analytics, bar-code scanner software, and billing systems work.
My specialty is programming in C++ (also: C; C#; java) in most any architecture: GUI-based apps (MFC, Qt, X-Windows), client-server systems, or console-based programs. I have experience with threaded programming. I am comfortable with all major databases. I can install and configure linux systems, inluding web servers, postfix mail, and databases.
For the past 10 years I have been doing freelance work at competitive rates. I have no problems doing any task using a computer, whether it be QA testing, repairing data, project planning, documentation, even data entry. Currently fully available for any project large or small.

Work Terms

F/T or P/T. prefer longer-term work but anything is ok. standard rate is $9.86 (USD). Usually on Eastern time (EST) but very flexible.
