Words are potent things, so entrust yours to me. I promise to use them for good, not evil.
I spent years working in the advertising communications industry in London, which was great and all, but it wasn't me. Having relocated to the rural surroundings of Dartmoor in merry olde England, I'm now making my way in this crazy world through freelancing. Fortunately, it turns out I'm pretty good at it.
Being British it goes against all my instincts to blow my own trumpet. How did I do, there?
Anyway, I have bags of experience in writing on all kinds of subjects (I'm new to Guru and don't have a portfolio here yet, so contact me for work samples) as well as writing novels - I've penned three under my own name, and ghost written and edited many, many more. I'm easy to work with, I'm responsive, I stick to deadlines, and I pride myself on my ability to write about any subject with any tone. Either wind me up and watch me go, or provide extremely stern briefs - you're the client, and you make the rules (though for the avoidance of doubt, this only applies to work. Please don't turn up at my house and berate me for not washing behind my ears and leaving my shoes in the kitchen).
Work Terms
I'm a freelancer - that means that conventional working patterns are something that agreed to leave behind when I embarked on this journey, and I'm sure we can work something out. The only thing I'll say is that I am based in the UK, so if I'm outside your time zone there will be brief periods that we are unable to reach each other - trust me, you don't want to deal with me at 3am before I've had my coffee.
