• Experience in decline curve analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis, transient well test interpretation and wellbore dynamics modeling and performance.
• Experience in EOR steam injection screening (huff and puff, SAGD, HASD) with CMG-STARS reservoir simulator.
• Experience in development plans for El Salto, Temblador and UMS oilfields with active aquifer and gas cap.
• Planning and Execution of reservoir data acquisition campaign (Pilot Hole, RFT/MDT, DST string, PVT sampling and analysis).
• Experience in well reactivation through work-overs, services and repair proposals.
• Knowledge in planning and execution of reserves evaluation, classification and booking.
Skills and Experience:
• Dynamic reservoir simulation Studies, using Eclipse 100, CMG-STARS, Eclipse 300Thermal, and Petrel RE.
• Reservoir simulation uncertainty and optimization analysis with PETREL RE.
• Fluid behavior and PVT analysis – Equation Of States (EOS, PVTi, Winprop)
• Integrated Full Field Development Planning and production forecasting
• Well performance and Nodal analysis with Pipesim.
• Pressure Transient Analysis with PANSYSTEM.
• Uncertainty analysis with Crystal Ball software
• Knowledge and experience with both heavy and extra-heavy oil reservoirs.
