As a Mass Communication graduate from the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, I gained a comprehensive understanding of communication theories and practices, which I have applied to my work in various media outlets. Through my experiences in print, digital, and social organizations, I have honed my skills in communication strategy development, content creation, and stakeholder engagement.

In my current role as a Communication Officer-GBC at the Silver Jubilee Development Agency (SJDA), I oversee the communication activities of the organization, including the development of communication plans and the creation of content for various communication channels. I also work closely with AKDN institutions to report their activities for publication in print and online platforms such as Akhbaar & The Ismaili Pakistan (social media).

Prior to my current role, I worked as a sub-editor/reporter for 1.5 years at the Online Int'l News Agency and 10 months at the Daily The Patriot in Islamabad. These experiences allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the news-making process and the various methods used by media outlets to disseminate information to a mass audience.

During my time as a media relations intern at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), I developed strong relationships with various media organizations in Pakistan, including foreign media correspondents. I was also responsible for handling the institute's social media and record keeping, which further strengthened my communication and organizational skills.

Furthermore, my experience as a radio intern at the Potohar Organization for Development Advocacy (PODA) provided me with the opportunity to produce radio programs focused on ending gender-based violence. This experience helped me develop my storytelling and content creation skills for a specific cause.
