Hande Dilek Akçam is one of today's prominent, creative, expert illustrator and Graphical designer artists. So far, she illustrated over 200 books, designed 50 posters more or less.

Hande Dilek Akçam; having her drawings published on numerous literature, art, children magazines and newspapers such as 'Varlik', 'Bak', 'DigitalArts', 'Ünlem Sanat', 'Karakalem', 'Photoshop Magazin', 'Tmolos' was born in 1982. Her happy childhood and high school education was in Antalya.
She studied in Antalya Anatolian Fine Arts High School during 1996-2000.
She completed her education in Izmir Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts USA, Art Teaching Department’ during 2000-2004. She graduated as an Art Teacher, but had no chance to teach at school because she started her professional business life as a permanent Illustrator and Graphic Designer in a Publishing company due to her success in school life. In this period, she illustrated and designed various 54 books, consisting of Course, supplementary text and stories, for Ministry of National Education and became Art Director in the same company.

Recognized with her idiosyncratic lines in her works such as Children's book, Poster Design, Book cover design, packaging design and illustration, mascot (character design), storyboard, portrait comics, wedding invitation, young artist performs live portrait comics at different organization projects for many years.

In love with drawing and producing new projects, the artist moved her workshop from Izmir to Istanbul in October 2010 and at her workshop in Kadiköy; she works as freelancer for leading advertising agencies and publishers in Turkey.
She loves spending time with children at times, participating in social responsibility projects, bianel, festival events.

Also, dreaming of holding a solo exhibition on “Violence to Women”, highly talend and versatile artist Hande Dilek Akçam continues her life with non-stop, high ambitious and efficient manner in Istanbul.
