Creating art has always been my way of processing the world, expanding myself, and my tool for creating change. I believe art is about connecting to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.
As an artist and illustrator, I love the process of formulating a visual reflection of an idea or text in a creative, meaningful and impactful way. I believe that illustrations, no matter how simple or complex, can be highly effective in conveying a message. It is my job to gain a deep understanding of what the desired impact is for the book, article, portrait, or any other creative project, and from there, I can make the most effective artistic choices to convey it.
Work Terms
I prefer to communicate through email or phone, and am happy to work on projects paid by milestone, tasks or tracked hours.
For large projects (5 illustrations or more) I am happy to do a sketch or a test illustration free of charge.
