Can write, will write

I hold a masters degree in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh. I specialize in short stories and novels but can lend my hand to any project with wit, adaptability and a sharp, precise turn of phrase.

I am also a CELTA and PTLLS qualified EFL teacher and have worked in the field for 7years. This experience has afforded me strong formal writing, grammar and editing skills.

I consider my style to be humourous, friendly and a little bit knowledgeable about a lot of things, like the pal down the pub two gin-and-tonics in, offering you advice at the quiz machine.

I have an attraction to the weird, silly, sad and beautiful, can handle current affairs, art, literature and modern trends with confidence. Big on cats.
