Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

Hello, my name is Haris and im 24 years old. I was born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia. While attending primary and secondary schools, I pursued a career in professional sports. I played basketball for about 10 years, on both semi and professional level. Due to multiple injuries, I decided to change my career path and enrolled in college, to pursue a BA degree in Computer Science. Meanwhile, I started working on minor personal projects until I got my first full-time job in the industry at the age of 21. I currently have over 2 years of experience working in Ruby on Rails, primarily as a backend developer. Throughout my career, I worked on integrations with Salesforce, Hubspot, Google, Facebook, Slack etc. I also was a part of the team that implemented many of Twilio's VOIP functionalities in one of our applications.

My biggest advantage is that I always plan ahead, and will always ask you multiple questions to make sure that I always deliver what you were expecting and nothing less. Working with me shouldn't be too hard, because I try to listen to everything you need and will always look to help out even if the what you are asking is out of the agreed scope.

As you can see, I have full professional proficiency in English, but I also speak Bosnian and will understand most of your German, but most likely won't know how to respond :)
