I am, of course, passionate about writing - specifically, I love the choreography that’s involved; the precise positioning and timing of a word that will conjure up an image, elicit an emotion and encourage an action. However a love for writing doesn’t automatically produce an exceptional content writer, knowing how to emote and resonate with your audience does…

As a former senior business developer within digital advertising, I worked with global brands such as Adidas, BMW and Sony, devising and delivering digital campaigns that were designed to resonate with their target consumer based on specific audience profiles, moments and interests. This has given me a unique edge as a writer, not only strengthening my intuitive capacity to marry written content with your brand’s target audience, but understanding the part that content plays in your wider marketing and commercial strategies.

Last year I created Boca Grande Content after seeing an opportunity to combine my background in advertising and copywriting with my business partner’s experience as a former editor for lifestyle magazines. Since founding Boca Grande I have pitched and won new accounts such as Nescafe, Ogilvy, and LWE, producing compelling website copy, feature articles, interviews, creative concepts and content strategies. My personal ambition is to surprise our clients every day with content that pushes new ground, to tell their story in the most enthralling way and to enrapture their audiences.

My secret sauce? The alchemy of nine years experience in copywriting, marketing and business development. A slow-cooked creative jus that spits out imaginative ideas, implementation and commercial impact, so that whether it’s producing 50 characterful coffee pod descriptions for the Dolce Gusto website, proposing concepts for global festival content, or writing ‘real bride’ articles for international make-up artists, I am able to cook up emotional investment that will leave audiences hungry for more.
